PARADISE REVIVED?

Sure, you'll confirm it before the end of the day!

As the dhow slips gently away from the jetty, your experience of a lifetime begins and you quickly fall under the spell of the magical atmosphere. Beautiful vistas over turquoise seas along the mangrove islands as you sail and enjoy the truly unspoilt Kenya coast.
You'll be collected from your hotel and driven to Shimoni through coconut and cashew plantations to the beach where the crew of our dhows await you. Shimoni, "the place of the hole" in Swahili, is a series of huge limestone caves that were once used as slave prisons. Local slavers are said to have stored their victims here pending shipment. A visit to these caves is scheduled before boarding the dhows.
Shimoni is also the starting point for a visit to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park. Scarcely anywhere in the world can beat the snorkelling around the small islet of Kisite. Enjoy a fascinating guided snorkelling experience in Kisite's imposing reef system which is the home of dolphins, turtles and an enormous variety of coral life and hundreds of species of beautifully coloured tropical fish. The peace and tranquil beauty of the coral reefs, the breathtaking colourful variety of the underwater world, the playful dolphins and turtles with myriads of vibrantly coloured tropical fish and you all want to see everything.
Upon arrival on Wasini Island walk barefoot on the powdery sand to our dive base where the best programmes and all comforts are offered for all guests. The journey here in a dhow, followed by a seafood lunch on the island, makes just one of those days you remember for a lifetime. Wasini is a seven-square-mile island lying off Shimoni and consisting of two Muslim fishing villages, a pillar tomb with inset porcelain and abundant shells.
